Around 2 years ago, when my husband and I started trying to conceive, I made the decision to swap out all of the products in our home for ones with cleaner ingredients. It was a bit of a journey as sometimes the "BEST" product doesn't do the job it is meant to do. However, after much trial and error (and even one dishwasher that lost its life to the cause), eventually I was able to compile a list of my favorite products.
** Disclaimer: While I do view myself as a frenectomy specialist, I do NOT think I am an expert at all things low-tox or non-toxic. I'm just doing the best I can to use cleaner products / live a healthier and happier life.

*Not my first, second, third or even fourth pick. I tried Branch Basics Dishwasher Detergent with hopes I'd love it. It left a layer on dishes and ultimately lead to the to breakdown our dishwasher. I tried Blueland tabs. Similar result to Branch Basics. Ecos Gel was next up and had a decent result. We settled with Seventh Generation. This specific product has an A rating on EWG and cleans our dishes perfectly. If anyone has a non-toxic, Dishwasher Detergent product they love, please send me a message. I'd love a recommendation!
**My FAVORITE. Many non-toxic soaps are thin and rinse off too quickly. We have used Dr. Bronner's soap in the past but I didn't feel it cleaned the dishes as well. This has a scent that may be too strong for some people but truly is a wonderful product.
As an infant frenectomy specialist, I recognized the need for a new standard for providers treating little ones. I set out to use clean, non-toxic products at Arlington Tongue Tie Center whenever possible. Here are some of my favorite products for babies!

As a pediatric dentist, it is challenging to truly be non-toxic. Ideally, we would live in a world where diet is optimal and free of ultra-processed foods. Snacking and sugar consumption would be kept to a minimum. People would only drink water and there would be a priority on oral hygiene. I am up to date on all research and have thoughts on fluoride vs. hydroxyapatite that perhaps I will write a post on some day but for now, I'll provide recommendations for both fluoride and alternatives:
